To this effect, we provide our employees with medical benefits for themselves and their eligible dependents. Employees and the Company share in the cost of medical coverage. When you or a covered family member are in need of medical care, your medical benefits can provide valuable financial protection. There is no pre-existing condition clause or limitation in any of the medical plans we offer. This scheme is administered by Discovery Health.
We also provide our employees with pension benefits with a group life scheme. This scheme is administered by Alexander Forbes. The scheme grows in value year after year. The longer employees work here, the more they accumulate toward their retirement.
In terms of annual leave, we offer up to 20 days annual leave for all staff, and those who have 10 years unbroken service or are a member of management, are entitled to 25 days annually.
We realize that personal and family problems can affect employee lives – both at home and at work. To assist employees and their families in getting help needed, the Company has established a prepaid, independent and confidential employee assistance programme which includes a counseling service for employees and their dependents. All kinds of issues are included but not limited to: family issues, financial counseling, relationship counseling and trauma counseling.
