Willem specializes in occupational and mine health and safety law, litigation and environmental law.  He has represented mining interests at the Leon Commission concerning Health and Safety in the mining industry.  Willem has assisted employers in conducting health and safety audits.  He has appeared for mining houses and corporations in the chemical, metal and other industries at very prominent inquests, inquiries and litigation proceedings.  He has represented employers in claims for damages based on lung and other occupational diseases.  Willem has been listed as one of the pre-eminent mining lawyers by "The International Who's Who of Mining Lawyers".

Pieter jointed Brink Cohen Le Roux at its inception and was appointed as a director of the firm at the beginning of 1998.  He is a litigation attorney and specializes in litigation, occupational and mine health and safety law and labour law.  Pieter has appeared personally on behalf of various corporate clients in a large number of matters in his fields of expertise.

Johan Olivier BA LLB LLM

Johan specializes in employment law matters involving mainly corporate clients, which includes major mining houses.  He regularly appears in the Labour Court, CCMA and occupational health and safety forums on behalf of clients.  He has extensive experience in dealing with disciplinary issues and litigation relating to all employment issues including unfair discrimination and misconduct relating to breaches of Health and Safety rules.  Johan is listed in the "International Who's Who of Management Labour and Employment Lawyers", published by the official research partner of the International Bar Association.

Celeste Coyne BA LLB

Celeste completed her BA and LLB degrees at the University of Stellenbosch.  She also recently obtained a certificate in Prospecting and Mining Law from the Mandela Institute, School of Law (University of Witwatersrand).  Her main areas of practice are labour law, litigation, occupational and mine health and safety law.  She has assisted in the representation of various employers in inquests, investigations and inquiry proceedings.
