Law of Costs is a systematic statement of the rules relating to liability for costs as applied by South African courts. Law of Costs elucidates and discusses the legal principles controlling the awards of costs by examining the multitude of relevant decisions of the South African courts and by referring to a large number of legislative enactments. These are quoted in the footnotes for further research. The work also includes a comprehensive chapter on the taxation of costs.
