Nadia Padayachee is an admitted attorney. She holds a BA degree (cum laude), a BA Honours and an LLB (cum laude) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Nadia is a specialist in information and privacy law. She worked as a Senior Associate in Dispute Resolution Practice at the leading commercial firm, Webber Wentzel (in alliance with Linklaters), for six years,
and ran litigation in the High Court of South Africa and in various quasi-judicial fora such as the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa, the Press Council, and the South African Human Rights Commission. Nadia also advised clients on a range of contractual, corporate and tax issues in South Africa and in African jurisdictions such as Swaziland and Zimbabwe. She gained broad experience in crisis and reputation management, advising clients about reputational risks on social media platforms, defamation suits, the publication of media statements and breaches of confidential information.She assisted with two highly publicised internal inquiries for major South African media companies, assisting the respective commissioners with witness interviews and acting as secretariat.
