John Sutherland Saner SC

Author – Prescription (Lawsa Volume 33 – Third Edition)

Advocate John Saner obtained an MA (cum laude) in English literature from the University of the Witwatersrand, and proceeded to study an LLB. In 1976 he was admitted as an advocate, and was admitted to the Cape Bar in 1987. He has practised as an advocate ever since. In 2015 Advocate Saner took Silk, and has for many years specialised in medical negligence, prescription and restraint of trade matters.

He is the author of three current legal textbooks: Prescription in South African Law; Agreements in Restraint of Trade in South African Law and Medical Malpractice in South Africa. He is also a third time author of the prestigious Lawsa title PRESCRIPTION.
