LDT has three types of roles for communications;
internal referring to the owner of the matter (the our ref),
external which includes the contacts of the instructing attorney firm and
app user who is authorised to scan on the firm’s behalf.
This allows you to manage who receives updates, e.g. you may want your instructing attorney to receive early notification of preps, but want to control the registration notifications
