Business Loss Registration Portal

Businesses affected by the unrest which took place during 9 - 19 July have until Thursday, 30 September at 17:00 to register on the Business Loss Registration Portal as announced by government last week.

As part of the relief package announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa on 25 July 2021, the government has launched a registration portal for the registration of businesses that were affected by the unrest which took place during 9 - 19 July 2021 in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and other affected areas in the country.

The purpose of the registration portal is to provide a single governmental entry point for businesses to indicate the extent of physical property damage and stock losses they have suffered. Collected data and properly co-ordinated relief measures will be used to help small and medium businesses to rebuild more efficiently, to access available facilities, and to inform government in the event of future interventions being necessary.

Data collected will be kept secure and will only be used to improve government delivery and support measures.

How to access the Business Loss Registration Portal?

Access to the portal is via the following link: www.relief4sa.co.za also accessible via scanning the QR code. To scan the QR code, simply use the camera on your smart phone to view the QR code, and you will be directed to the portal via the link above. The portal doesn’t require the uploading of documents or pictures and therefore uses little data. If you have trouble accessing the portal, a call centre operator will assist you. The call centre number is 080 006 0085 and is available from 08:00 to 17:00 weekdays.
